Tomorrow’s guest on my “High Noon” radio program will be Steve Tenore, the former chairman of the Westchester County Board of Legislators. Among other things, Tenore will talk about his recently published novel which involves international intrigue and, believe it or not, the funeral home business.
The show airs at 12 noon on WVOX, 1460-AM. You can also listen in live at www.wvox.com.

Lemme guess….. the Chinese are shipping illegal guest workers in via multi-occupant coffins, right? Hmmmmm. I always suspected several terms on the WBOL did something sinister to its victims’ thinking abilities….am I proven to have been correct?
Speaking of amateur novels by manipulative wannabe E.L. Doktorows…. what news of the “Indian Point” potboiler, you know, the one by that chiropractor from Washington Heights? I received a multicolor postcard by direct mail flacking the book—- which means someone shelled out for a big mass mailing….. in vain, it would seem, ‘cause I hear absolutely zip about it now. I would have expected the Kennedys aided by Lorraine Bracco and the “Cleaver” crew would have thrown something together by now, but Bracco sold that little estate house she owned opposite Dobbs Ferry, didn’t she?
That would kind of explain why she has no further interest in “the Hudson”..... (she already pulled her real estate chestnut out of the fire.)
I wonder very often what motivates people with too much money, time on their hands, & no steady job or committments. I guess its greed, ego, self-aggrandizement and concupiscence, just like Father Duffy told us in high school, huh?
You’re close on the coffin idea…I think you could write a novel, Big!
