Phil Reisman is a veteran journalist and native of Westchester County. He began his career in 1977 as the head copy boy of a startup New York City newspaper that quickly went belly up. Reisman was not to blame for the newspaper's failure, or so he claims.

Dear Ms. Royle:
I’m writing in regard to today’s Journal News (6/25/07). The front page and entire A section of this edition (as well as most recent editions’) carries absolutely no indication that the United States of America is fighting a two-front war in Afghanistan and Iraq, that young Americans are being killed and wounded while serving their country. In fact, it is not until one reaches page 3B that there is any war news at all. Most disturbing to me, however, is the story I found on page 4B describing the sacrifice and four-year ordeal of Joseph Briseno, Jr., and his family. Blind, brain-damaged, and quadriplegic, Briseno’s story rates more than the attention that this newspaper seems willing to give. All of this leads me to ask, what will it take, how much more will they have to give, for these servicemen and women to make it as front page news? Regardless of whether your readership is pro-war, anti-war, pro-troops, anti-Bush, or just apathetic and oblivious, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq should be on your front page every single day at least until our soldiers, sailors, airmen/women, and marines return home.

actually Perot had made sense at the time. My issue with bloomberg goes beyond all that. I really am not happy with how NY is doing. Many people love him But i look at many things he has done.
