Maybe by being forthcoming and less furtive to the public's right to know, the public's understanding would improve. These pols would prefer that the public know nothing except what is promulgated by their taxpayer funded press releases and just shut up and pay. Thanks to Reisman and a very few others, we get an understanding of the "workings" of county government.
