Today’s column compared Westchester County Executive Andy Spano and his right-hand man, Larry Schwartz, to the famous cartoon characters, “Pinky and the Brain.”
Spano is Pinky in this relationship and Schwartz is the diabolical Brain, who as I recall sounds a great deal like Orson Welles. Anyway, here they are—and in case you didn’t know, Pinky is the mouse on the left and the Brain is the mouse on the right.

Very good Phil, The Brains voice was provided by Maurice La Marche. In the film Ed Wood, Vincent D’Onofrio ( Gomer Pyle in Full Metal Jacket) portrays Orson Wells but his voice was dubbed by Maurice La Marche.
My, what big ears they have. That can make a mouse mighty touchy.
