A List of Westchester County Salaries

March

There’s been a lot of talk about the salaries of Westchester County officials, but it occurred to me that taxpayers might want a list of the jobs and the money that goes with each position from county executive down to senior office assistant. Click on this to get the list.

I wonder what the true yearly cost is to the taxpayer when you factor in expense account, fact finding vacations, seminars, power lunches, pensions, benefits, miscellaneous perks, ect.

Well, there you go…Health and dental are free and they receive a defined pension benefit, unlike most of the private sector.

$5,180,735.00 a year is the combined total salary of that list. Of course that does not include the cost of perks and benefits. I would not be surprised if the true cost was close to double that amount. It would be interesting to see how much less it was ten years ago. I wonder how many Westchester residents, (outside of the beneficiaries) think this is money well spent.

I would love to see the how much the admin of Westchester Medical Center is making, we have been paying for their bailout all these past few years.. rumer has it that the CEO makes more than the county ececutive..sounds kind of crazy to me, with none of the nurses or csca working having a current contract….
