Amen Ed, she sounded like a well rehearsed, early 20 something intern type. I don’t mean to be insulting Phil, but I wouldn’t think that a female in her early 20’s is your target demographic.

Resident: This is exactly what I thought, and how it sounded. The woman even gave her “name.” If she were, by some chance, a real caller she’s living in la-la land mentioning Long Island counties as an example of anything other than big, over-compensated government and onerous taxation.

The young lady that called and asked why Nassua and Suffolk counties spend less money on government than Westchester County had to be a plant. It was amazing how much gusto Mr. Ryan had in explaining away that “misconception”, almost seemed as if he had advance notice of the question. It was a great way for him to attempt to create the illusion that county government in Westchester is actually thrifty.
