You’ve never written one critical piece about Obama during this entire election.
If he is elected and serves one term, he will have been President of the United States longer than he has held any steady job in his life.
Now that’s a “change†no other candidate for this office during the twentieth century can compare with.
Far more important than the Republican Party taking a good look at itself after this election, will be the sad acknowledgement for everyone in this nation that we have witnessed the death of objective journalism in America. I don’t mean from opinion column writers like yourself, but from the so-called “reporters†and “editors†who have so obviously favored one man over another, and have exhibited no shame in using the press and electronic media to convey their choice to the detriment of everyone. You work in that business Mr. Riesman. You can laugh at this letter if you want, but you know you have never seen this kind of biased coverage in your entire career, and that is a sad fact.
No matter who wins on Tuesday all of us have lost the only resource we could count on for information. The American media in all its forms, can never be trusted again. They committed suicide on the altar of Barack Obama.
I’m not laughing at all…In fact, I agree with you to this extent—I thought John McCain took a disproportionate amount of abuse in terms of YouTube, talking heads, etc.
I rarely comment on blogs but yours I had to stop and say Great Blog!!
