They’re Getting Out The Pitch Forks

March

Westchester County Executive Andy Spano’s 49-year-old son, David, is at it again.

He’s taped at least two more anti-county government TV commercials in which he identifies himself as the offspring of the incumbent CE. Click on Spano for the latest spot. This can only be seen as a sad and nagging embarassment for Andy Spano, who is in the middle of running for his fourth term on the theme that county government is efficient, frugal and an important service provider to the people of Westchester.

The commercials featuring the wayward son are driving the publicity for an April 25 anti-tax rally that’s being organized by Sam Zherka, the renegade weekly newspaper publisher and “gentleman’s club” owner. Zherka is supposed to be holding a press conference at 11 a.m. today to formally announce the citizen’s march on the county office building in White Plains.

It reminds me of the villagers chasing the Frankenstein monster into the burning windmall.

Is county government a monster?

Is county government a monster?

I had not realized (until now) that you are running interference for “His Rugheadness”, Dandy Boy Andy.

    Too bad.

You had a lot of promise as a columnist.

Where this leaves YOU is hard to say.

Mr. Spano is full of contempt for his constituency. Out of his life-long association with the Ralph Arreds of this world, he has Tolchinestically morphed into a bogus “Lifestyle Guru”, one who has bought the wink’n’nudge bullcr*p of Matthiessen, & Brodsky as Gospel.

Where this leaves him , philosophically speaking, is up the creek, no paddle.

Then along comes golf buddy Philly II, to make it seem OK to not have a damn clue!

    Shame, and shame again !

Better that there BE no county Government, than that we have a county Government that ignores us, hiding behind bullsh*t PR from the antinukes, and “Its OK, Really” from bought’n’sold ex-columnists.

How much do you receive from his rugheadedness each month, to write his apologies for him?

If it ain’t money, then its truly incomprehensible.

You pull for the very worst cr*p head in the world, because he’s a buddy of yor’n ??

    As I sed abov,

    SHAME !

Phil Reisman you’re still a copy boy being told what to do for a $2.00 tip.

Good post about Tolchin’s indictable public malfeasance.

This single instance is emblematic of a whole county’s descent into Bent-Nosed-Cronyville, on MY DIME !!!

Where the hell is my STAR rebate?

If Rob Astorino were in a coma, and quadriplegic, he’d still be a better bet for the taxpayer than the SYSTEMIC LOOTING of my family’s future by the Bent-Nose-Crony-Don & company.
