In previous posts, I’ve mentioned the big fight between Gov. David Paterson and the public unions. Well, now they’re evoking war terminology.
Indeed, CSEA president Danny Donahue all but compared his union to G.I.’s surrounded by the Germans in World War II at the Battle of the Bulge. In response to Paterson’s call for employee furloughs, Donahue issued a one-word press release.
Evoking the defiant American commander Gen. Anthony McAuliffe, Donahue said, “Nuts.”
