In case you missed today’s column, I’m soliciting ideas that would serve to pull the financially-troubled Playland Amusement Park out of the red. The person who comes up with the best idea will get a prize.
It’s much better than that. The winner will get a family 4-pack to Playland, a prize that includes four all-day passes and free parking.
Here’s the idea: Come up with an idea, write it down in clear, concise English and either e-mail your entry to me at firstname.lastname@example.org or send it via snail-mail to Phil Reisman, The Journal News, 1 Gannett Drive, White Plains, N.Y. 10604. Accompanying art work will be welcomed, though not necessary.
You can also post comments on this blog, but then you’d be giving your brilliant idea away, right?
Whatever you, PUT YOUR NAME ON YOUR ENTRY.
The deadline is Wednesday, Aug. 25. That’s not much time. So don’t delay.
I’ll announce the winner in a future column.
