In my last post, I mentioned the woman in my neighborhood who invariably asks me the day of the week whenever we encounter on our walks.
Dementia is reaching epidemic proportions. But she is not the woman I’m writing about today. This is another sad case.
On today’s walk, Roger and I found missing fliers posted all along the route, including this one at the Palmer Road entrance to the lake at Bronxville. Catherine “Kay” Cotter, 88, who suffers from dementia and lives at 253 Garth Road in Eastchester wandered away from home. She was last seen on May 28.
Police said it’s possible that she got on a train at the Metro North station in Bronxville.
